Crashborn teaser trailer

Death resets your reality

Every death rebuilds everything around you from scratch: a new solar system, a different arsenal, a run you have never played.

Sink into a universe full of possibilities, remember who you were in a past life, and get back home.

Prologue

The only way back: the vortex

A jump went wrong. Your ship is damaged and out of fuel on the rim of a solar system that is not yours, and all that is left aboard is your companion, who will follow you anywhere you go.

The error

Your ship was damaged mid-hyperjump. Your only option is to land on the nearest planet.

The vortex

It is the only thing you remember. Crossing it is the only way to solve the mystery and get back home.

The ship

To recharge it you have to pull energy out of the planet you land on, alongside the companion who helps you along the way.

Reconfigured

Death is not final. Your mind slips into a parallel branch where you did not die, your whole reality rearranges, and you get a chance to recover memories.

Replayability

Die. Remember. Cross again.

Reconfiguration is not the end. Each branch you fall through hands back a fragment of who you were, and every crossing is a system you have never seen.

Your memories

Every death banks memory fragments. Turn them into memories to restore the weapons and implants a former you once carried.

Procedural regeneration

The planet and everything on it change completely every run, each one with its own enemy set.

A living combat

Every planet carries its own soundtrack, and it shifts intelligently with the run and the moment.

The world turns lethal

The longer you stay, the harder the run gets. You have to beat the final guardian before your ship can take off.

  1. 01The system

    A whole system to cross.

Jump planet by planet toward the vortex at the center: it is the only way home. There are 12 procedural biomes to play.

  2. 02Level up

    Level up. Grow stronger.

Every enemy drops experience you can collect to level up and remember abilities you had in a past life.

  3. 03Combat

    Choose wisely. Endless combinations.

Your whole arsenal fires automatically while you move and work on recharging your ship. You can switch to the aimed alternate mode, or hand one of your weapons to your companion.

  4. 04The hyperjump

Recharge your ship. Reach the vortex.

Bank the planet's energy for your next jump, but be careful: it only holds enough fuel to reach the next planet. Get ready for the fight waiting there.

One rule: Keep moving.

Every enemy will hunt you until there is nothing left of you. Move wisely and keep them from reaching you or landing a shot.

    Min run length

A single crossing can stretch from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your decisions.

  • 4

Your whole arsenal fires automatically. Choose your combinations well and find the synergies.

Projectiles, orbitals, drones and auras, all at once.

Twenty modifiable stats that reshape how you play.

A spectral thorn that hunts enemies on its own, then curves back to your hand.

  • Ricochet

A bouncing bolt that caroms between enemies and ricochets off every wall.

  • Energy Cannon

Shoulder-mounted energy turret that fires explosive orbs at nearby enemies.

  • Seeker

Fires a homing dart from over your back; it arcs forward, curves onto a target, and bursts in a light splash.

Electromagnetic rail cannon. Fires a devastating beam that pierces all enemies in a line.

  • Rail Drone

A precision drone that fires a railgun beam, piercing every enemy in a line.

  • Plasma Blade

Magenta laser sword that orbits on your back, dashing to enemies with varied slash patterns.

  • More coming
